I specialize in helping brands uncover their unique voice, clarify their message, and create meaningful connections with their audiences. Equipped with legitimate expertise in media & communications, consumer behavior, market positioning, and storytelling, I guide brands from ideation to execution, ensuring consistency, authenticity, and impact at every touchpoint. Whether launching a startup or repositioning an established brand, I craft strategies that blend creative vision with data-driven insights to build lasting value and drive growth.
My experience as a professor has been instrumental in shaping me as a leader and mentor. Guiding students through complex ideas and real-world challenges has sharpened my skills in strategic thinking and collaboration. From the classroom, I’ve learned to lead with empathy, set high standards, and foster a culture of curiosity, all qualities that translate directly into effective leadership beyond academia.
Basically, I'm a research nerd who wants to make positive changes in media and help brands position themselves in the world. My PhD is in new media & communication. I received training in both qualitative and quantitative methods, with expertise in interviewing and digital ethnography at the University of Illinois at Chicago, the Oxford Internet Institute, and Queensland University of Technology.
Oh, I'm also a Bravo TV aficionado! Currently writing my first book on the Real Housewives and the lessons learned from this awesome piece of pop culture. You can read my writing in top-tier media journals and on Reality Tea, the foremost site for reality TV news & gossip. How's that for range?! When I'm not strategizing or bingeing Housewives, I'm in the sun, swimming, taking pictures of the city, and kicking ass in trivia contests.
